Our Mission
We train Champions by providing Latine Student-Athletes from East Boston with Athletic Coaching and Mentorship that empowers them to build hope for their futures.
In 2021, we began Esperanza with this guiding belief: Representation Matters.
Over the years, we’ve heard from too many Latine young people in East Boston that the coaches and mentors in their lives did not understand their experience as first-generation immigrant youth.
We believe Every young person deserves to have Coaches and Mentors whose lived experiences, language, and culture are similar to their own.
By providing, youth with access to free Coaching & Mentorship that supports them on and off the field or court, we are committed to training the whole young person - mind, body, and spirit.
This commitment is a commitment to closing the opportunity gaps for under-resources youth in East Boston and beyond and ensuring every Student-Athlete will build hope for their futures.
The Esperanza Collaborative is a Youth Program under the 501c3 of Living Stones Church, with support from Infinite Ballers and East Boston High School.
